German Chocolate Drop Cookies

German sweet chocolate |

sifted flour |

baking soda |

| 1/2 tsp |
salt |

| 3/4 cup |
margarine |
|
| 3/4 cup |
sugar |
|

eggs |

| 1/2 tsp |
vanilla |

| 1/2 cup |
walnuts |

Chocolate glaze |

Preheat oven to 350. |

Melt chocolate; cool. Cream margarine, add sugar gradually and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add melted chocolate, blend. Add flour, soda, and salt and mix well. Add vanilla and chopped nuts. |

Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets. |

Bake for 10 to 12 min. Spread warm cookies with chocolate glaze. |

Chocolate glaze: Melt 4 oz of German sweet chocolate. Spread thinly over cookies. |
