| 1/3 cup | fresh lemon juice | |
| 1 tbsp | brown sugar | |
| 1/2 tsp | ground cumin | |
| 2 cloves | garlic | minced |
| 2 tbsp | olive oil | |
| salt to taste | ||
| hot pepper | to taste | |
| chicken breasts | ||
| peppers and onions | sliced |
| 1. | Combine first 7 ingredients to create marinade. Marinade chicken for 1 hour. |
| 2. | Remove chicken from marinade. Slice. Sear in hot pan. Meanwhile put the vegetables in the marinade. |
| 3. | Once the chicken is seared, add the veggies to the pan. When everything is about done, add the marinade and cook until thickened. |
| 4. | Serve with tortillas, sour cream, cheese, salsa, and/or beans. |
