Chocolate Crinkles

vegetable oil |

unsweetened chocolate |
melted |
| 2 cups |
sugar |

eggs |

| 2 tsp |
vanilla |

| 2 cups |
flour |

baking powder |

| 1/2 tsp |
salt |

confectioner's sugar |

Mix oil, chocolate, and granulated sugar. Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla. Stir flour, baking powder, and salt into mixture. Chill several hours or overnight. |

Heat oven to 350. Drop teaspoons of dough into confectioner's sugar. Roll in sugar and shape into balls. Place two inches apart on greased baking sheets. |

Bake 10 to 12 min or until an imprint barely remains when touched in center. (Make sure not to overbake!) Cool on racks and put into containers immediately. Makes siz dozen. |
